I See the GLORY!

Today God has really just been pressing on my mind HIS GLORY.
Sometimes, I feel like I really have a grasp on His glory...or I guess a better way to express that is that sometimes He shows me little glimpses. It can be a little bit frustrating at times, because sometimes I want more than a glimpse--or I want to hold on to that glimpse for longer than He allows. Some of the most meaningful moments in my life are times that the Lord has allowed me to see a glimpse of His glory while surrounded by his creation, or in the middle of a youth group singing their hearts out to Him, and even in a 3 year old who can explain who Jesus is to him. (Thanks for that one, Matthew Smith!!!)

I am probably somewhat blinded to so much of His Glory in everyday life--because of my busy schedule...the tizzy of this world. But, regardless, God continues to draw me to Him with little glimpses of His ETERNAL GLORY! This makes me SO excited! =)

What God has shown me today is that His glory is too powerful for me to stand, and thus I can never see all of it at once. Powerful? You bet! That's why every knee will bow before Christ when He is revealed! Holy Ground...anytime you meet with God, you are on Holy Ground...because of His Glory! That's a cool concept.

Lord, I am ever thankful for the small glimpses of glory that you provide in my life...and yet just like a drop in the ocean of what your glory really is. Thank you for showing me things daily and for using these glimpses to draw me even closer to you! Thank you for a new brother in Christ and for the fire that comes with that. I pray that you would uncloud my vision so that I may see you more clearly and that I may see more of your glory in every moment. May my heart be yours only! Thank you for the life that comes with Spring, and for the blessings we overlook so much...the beauty of your creation! May I love you with even more of my heart in every moment...teach me this.

--We are standing on holy ground, and I know that there are angels all around.
Let us praise Jesus now, for I am standing in His presence on Holy ground.--
