Hmmm....

or MmmmmHmmmm. I don't know. It's been a weird day. My Spanish class got out early because of fleas (don't ask...it involves two dead oppossums in the ceiling...) and my OT class...well my teacher got frustrated with the computer projector thing so all we did was watch the presentation in another room and then take an easy quiz, which is always nice. Thank God for Sunday School!
Aside from that, I did dishes, 2 nice loads of laundry, vaccumed, cleaned our room and then drove home. Ate dinner with my parents, which was amazing. I love them so much...they are some of my best friends!
Something was really bothering me today, but it's all good now. It never helps my confidence to get a direct sneer/judgment/criticism/slam from a friend of a friend who doesn't even know me! It's a long story...but it hurts even worse when it's not even really about me, but my Savior and my Jesus who has rescued me from the pit of sin. That cuts deep, but...from the mouth of my older brother, "the gospel of Christ is offensive," and we're not in the Lamb's Book of Life to feel all warm and fuzzy. It's all to serve the Lord alone.
Anyway, a little disheartening and it's tempting to let that crush my spirit, but Christ says "No, Amanda, even though it involves you, it's not about you...I need NO DEFENSE...I stand alone, and you stand on me. Dwell in that!" (see Psalm 18:30 I think..."He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him...")

My GLORIOUS....Jesus Christ...I love you more and more every day!
