So I am sure that many of you know about Mr. Pell's "Great" game and all, but we aren't supposed to say Great at all or we are "fined." It's fun anyway. But today I was thinking a lot about the song that Chris Tomlin wrote..."How Great is Our God."
How Great is Our God
song by Chris TomlinGod is indeed Great. I was just remembering today while humming that song basically all day long that great means so much, and that's why Mr. Pell has attempted to ban it. That's why I copied the definition from dictionary.com, because God is worthy of all of the descriptions there! SO amazing! God is Great. This is a new realization in a way, and God has used Mr. Tomlin's song to speak to my heart for sure. Awesome stuff.
The splendor of a King
Clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice
All the earth rejoice
He wraps Himself in light
And darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice
Chorus-
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God
Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
Beginning and the end
The Godhead Three in One
Father Spirit Son
The Lion and the Lamb
The Lion and the Lamb
Bridge-
Name above all names
Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God
